Admission for International students

The admission requirement for the Bachelor of Physiotherapie is a degree from a university in your own country with a strong biology component, or a diploma equivalent to the Dutch VWO diploma (NLQF* 4+/EQF** 4). You are also admissable with an International Baccalaureate, 27 points with three subjects at a higher level, or a European Baccalaureate with a mark of 75%. Furthermore, an English language certificate at B2 level or above is needed. A language test should also be provided (IELTS).

Concerning other diplomas or missing subjects

If you have a different high school diploma and/or subject profile and you don’t meet the requirements, you will need to take additional exams. These exams are organized by the CCVX. The exams for math can be taken in both English and Dutch.

Disability Statement

SOMT offers students a (academic) learning environment in which they, with or without a disability, are able to study in an equivalent manner that contributes to a successful progress of their study.

In order to ensure that students with a disability can start their study successfully, without any delay, it is of great importance that these students, right after their enrolment at SOMT, immediately notify the Service Desk to discuss the required and possible facilities.

For further information see the Course Catalogue.
