Na het afronden van haar Master Manuele therapie aan SOMT, heeft Marije een Master of Science tot Klinisch epidemioloog afgerond aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Momenteel is ze bezig met een promotie onderzoek naar cervicale radiculopathie. Daarnaast is Marije werkzaam als Onderwijscoördinator en Docent voor de Masteropleiding Manuele therapie.
